Anyone strolled past The Place yet? Sick ... Coke's taken over with a stall underneath the TV screen. I hope they broadcast games live on that thing, at the moment it just has "Coca Cola" streaming in 49 different languages.
Oh yeah, you have to pay to get into the 精彩活动 inside, yawn...

I think the official big screens are all sponsered by Coke, it's the same in Chaoyang park, south gate.
Yes, you have to buy a ticket an stand in line to have your bag checked from nuclear weapons...welcome to the Olympics.
Where are the big screens where you can go and watch without all the hassle?

The event is over - it was just a promotional event during the Olympics and all that's left are the remnants of the stands and piles of garbage under the big screen that have yet to be swept up.
I ended up there one night the week before last and it was basically one large Coke-fueled pep rally for the Chinese Olympic team - the aim was basically to sell the lao bai xing on the concept of enjoying Coke cold.
